THE metal tour of 2025 is in our midst with two headlining bands: Bullet for My Valentine and Trivium and two guest acts: August Burns Red and Bleed From Within. Proudly produced by Live Nation, "The Poisoned Ascendancy" Tour, the metal pioneers will take a trip to 26 cities across North America with one stop at Atlanta, Georgia. Metalcore fans will experience BFMV's 'The Poison' and Trivium's 'Ascendancy' in FULL at Coca-Cola Roxy on Wednesday, May 14 '25.
The 20th-year celebration will feature BFMV's iconic and sinister blend of metalcore, thrash and emo sounds from their Gold and Platinum-certified debut album, 'The Poison' and Trivium's restless and provocative melodies from their sophomore album 'Ascendancy.' From tracks such as "All These Things I Hate" and "Tears Don't Fall" to tracks like "Dying In Your Arms" and "Pull harder on the Strings of your Martyr," it's going to be a full-throttle metal night. 2005 is making a huge comeback this year! After twenty years since its conception, Bullet for My Valentine and Trivium will celebrate their prolific albums, 'The Poison' and 'Ascendancy' respectively. Produced by Live Nation, "The Poisoned Ascendancy" Tour will feature no skips and no misses, with no tracks left out, performed across 26 cities in North America. When Bullet for My Valentine and Trivium crashes on the stage of Coca-Cola Roxy on Wednesday, May 14th, 6:30PM, August Burns Red and Bleed From Within will join them on the stage as opening acts.

Welsh metal heads Bullet for My Valentine or BFMV, consisting of Matthew Tuck (vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar), Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias (bass), have rocked out stages with their sinister blend of metalcore, thrash, emo. They are one of the most successful U.K. metal acts of the new millennium and this year, they will perform their career-changing and debut album 'The Poison' in its entirety. Fans will experience full-throttle-metal tracks from the Gold and Platinum-certified album, such as "4 Words (To Choke Upon)," "Tears Don't Fall" and "All These Things I Hate."
Acclaimed Florida metal band Trivium, made up of Matt Heafy (vocals and guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), Paolo Gregoletto (bass), and Alex Bent (drummer), is also gearing up for a provocative and restless performance as the "The Poisoned Ascendancy" Tour's co-headliner. They once conquered South then the North America, before rampaging on festival stages in Europe and Asia in support of their sophomore LP 'Ascendancy.' The album, which won Album of the Year in Kerrang! magazine and debuted No.4 in Top Heatseekers chart, will be played in full live on the stage. Fans can scream to "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr," and "Dying in Your Arms" for a full melodic metal meets thrash experience.
Let us not forget one of the show's opening act: American metalcore band, August Burns Red, consisting of guitarists JB Brubaker and Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson. The Grammy-nominated band will push the boundaries of metalcore live on the stage, featuring classical-inspired melodies and clean vocals.
Our second guest act is Glasgow, Scotland-based metal band Bleed from Within, made up of lead vocalist Scott Kennedy, drummer Ali Richardson, bassist Davie Provan, lead guitarist Craig Gowans, and rhythm guitarist, clean vocalist Steven Jones. The band will give you a taste of their crushing guitars and punishing breakdowns from their deathcore playbook.
