We will all hear the roar of a big machine once again this 2024! The Sisters of Mercy are back...
After breaking a 14-year drought with their stateside series of shows last year, the acclaimed goth-rock group is now pulling out all the stops for a full-fledged trip throughout the blackened roads of North America. The tour, supported by guest act Blaqk Audio, will span 26 dates in the upcoming fall season, which includes a pit stop in Atlanta's Coca-Cola Roxy on Friday, September 27th.
We are thrilled to inform all devout followers that The Sisters of Mercy will return to the stage fully decked out, featuring founding front man Andrew Eldritch, long-time bassist Ben Christo, guitarist Kai of Esprit D'Air, and operator Chris Catalyst, with everyone's favorite drum machine, Doktor Avalanche.
The band, one of the '80s most unique scene-setters, will blow you away with their Gold-certified trilogy of albums that melds eerie gothic rock with gloomy metal music and stylish psychedelia. The Sisters of Mercy debuted in the UK with their Top 15 1985 album, "First and Last Always," which was succeeded by similarly acclaimed albums, "Floodland" in 1987 and "Vision Thing" in 1990. Sing along and dance in the heat of the night and feel the bite behind the Billboard hits and deep cuts alike such as "Lucretia My Reflection," "Alice," "Dominion," "The Corrosion," "Doctor Jeep," and many, many more!
The dark-pop duo Blaqk Audio, meanwhile, will bid the audience hello as our sole opening performance. Founded by AFI members Davey Havok and Jade Puget, this act will rouse you into a frenzy with "First to Love," "Infinite Skin" and other incredible hits from their latest album, "Trop d'amour" just before the bell tolls for our night's main event.
Welcome The Sisters of Mercy on their decisive roadshow return at the Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta's #1 club-concert destination, sought after for its intimate ambiance, good food, better visuals, and the best sound in the city. It's time to reminisce in the heat of music so grab your tickets now!
